So I blasted on my twitter that I was done relying on fast food and bagels. It's a vicious cycle for me. I will be extremely healthy and cook several yummy vegetarian meals a week. Then I will run out of groceries and rely on junk food for a week or two. I'm trying to change that. I really hate the way I feel when I eat unhealthy, I have so much more energy and am so much more productive when I take the time to cook a yummy, healthy meal.
So I headed off to the local farm, our health food store and trader joes. My three favorite places to shop for goodies.

Got all sorts of produce at the farm. What did I get? 4 green peppers, kale, lettuce, 5 bananas, 4 tomatoes, 4 white peaches, a bundle of asparagus, 3 anaheim peppers, an eggplant, 2 avocados, 4 kiwis, 2 zucchinis, 3 little potatoes & a giant sweet potato!

Then I went to the health food store, Lassens. What did I get? 2 packages of organic whole wheat spaghetti, a bag of banana chips, a tub of
nutritional yeast, a box of Amy's California veggie burgers,
Just Fruit Salad, strawberry hemp granola & a coconut bar.

At Trader Joe's I bought: 16 oz of roasted unsalted sunflower seeds, package of blueberries, naan bread, 2 packages of fresh mozzarella, 2 bags of premade garlic & herb pizza dough, vanilla nonfat greek yogurt, greek yogurt with honey single pack.
Now I'm one of those people who will go grocery shopping and 3 days later be convinced there's nothing to eat because I already forgot what I bought. So I wrote it all down. And broke it into what I can make with everything.
Meals:
- Stuffed peppers
- Homemade pizza
- Spaghetti
- Veggie Burgers
- Grilled Veggies
- Caprese Sandwich/Salad
- Yogurt & Granola
- Green Smoothie
- Baked Potato
- Sweet Potato Fries

- Baked Potato
- Banana Chips

There. In 3 days when I'm convinced there's nothing to eat, I have something to back to. I'm sure there's even more options, but I think that list should last me the next week or two. Let's just say all of the yogurt is already gone because it was just that delicious. Probably should grab some more in the next day or two. Yogurt & Granola or Yogurt & Honey = amazing snack OR dessert. I'm one of those people who almost always needs "dessert". Basically, I just like a sweeter taste in my mouth after I eat rather than a "regular food" taste. Weird, I know.
I also scored a box of 48 family sized iced tea bags at Walmart for $1! I seriously only drink Iced Tea at home. I love it so much.
